This blog.

By definition, this blog will never be finished since I am perpetually escapading. So far, 3/4 of China is done (a work in progress...), but now I'm in Mo'orea and will be attempting to finish Mo'orea first since it's only a month, not almost a year. But with super limited internet, this isn't going to be lightning fast (surprise!).

Cheers!

The Philippines: Lone Snorkel Adventures

After rappelling down the waterfalls, Mad and Emma took a break and relaxed/read by the water.  Since I still had some residual adrenaline in me from the waterfalls, I could not sit still so I went out for some lone snorkeling right off of the Blue Orchid.

Did I mention that I secretly wish wearing wet suits was socially acceptable for everyday life?

Everywhere.  So big and beautiful.

Tons of little bright blue fish everywhere as well.  Every shade of the color blue was... everywhere.  It was fantastic.

Yes, I took a selfy.  We all know you secretly would too.  The goggles complemented my face so nicely I couldn't help it.  (This look will be all the rage soon.  Just you watch.)

The actual coral (which was very, very abundant) actually wasn't very colorful at all here.  But still beautiful.

I worked much, much harder to keep my hands to myself this time and not get stung by another sea urchin.

The little floating hut I swam out to.

No, unfortunately for the world, I am not ashamed.  Madeleine is a true friend - she is still friends with me, even after this.

The hut, looking back on The Blue Orchid with our rooftop terrace there.

Funnest fish to watch - they all bunch up really close and go in and out of the coral super fast for protection.  Very coordinated.

Just emerging from the coral's protection into the big blue sea again.
