This blog.

By definition, this blog will never be finished since I am perpetually escapading. So far, 3/4 of China is done (a work in progress...), but now I'm in Mo'orea and will be attempting to finish Mo'orea first since it's only a month, not almost a year. But with super limited internet, this isn't going to be lightning fast (surprise!).

Cheers!

The Philippines: 1 boat and 3 snorkels.

While still at The Blue Orchid, we spent a day relaxing on a small boat and snorkeling off of it.  It could not have been more perfect.

Walking out to the boat, a banana I just picked in hand.

Our boat driver.  He is actually way more friendly then he looks here...

Our first snorkeling spot

Unfortunately, at the first spot, there were tons of jellyfish, which Madeleine took the brunt of.  Hence her hands on her head (thus out of the water).  She somehow managed to get a sting on her face by transferring the broken jellyfish tentacles from her hand to her face.  A woman of many talents.  But seriously though, it was pretty bad.  The only not perfect part of the day.  Dexter, one of the boaters, fixed it right up with some vinegar though.

Jellyfish specimen.

BUT there were tons of fishies!!

Nemo.  We found him.

Coke sponsored us.  Or we sponsored them.

Much needed snacks, as you can tell by the glazed over look in my eyes indicating that I can't eat fast enough.

Did I mention how much I love wetsuits?

The next snorkeling spot - no more jellyfish!

...which Mad is very happy about.

Weird but awesome stuff everywhere.

Protection in the coral.

This is what the fish see.  No wonder they are a little bit scared.

Madeleine in her observation stance.

Flying.

Contemplations of the vast blue sea.
And it looks like Mad has an antenna growing out of her head.

Our boat!

Madeleine and me.  Typical.

Emma is not too happy about being in a tropical paradise.

A jungle gym of a boat

The jungle gym clearly was a big hit.

Mad chilling with Dexter, one of our boaters.

Madeleine, the alligator.  Ready to attack.
Aka rinsing off in the pool.
