Walking around Forbidden City/Tiananmen Square with Mad on our way to Jinshang Park.
Each post had an average of 7 cameras. The posts were probably about 10 meters away from each other. Tons of them.
Conclude what you may....
Chinese lanterns lining each road for Chinese New Year, aka precious color in the depth of winter.
Jinshang Park, on the top of a hill in a pagoda overlooking the pitch black Forbidden City and the brightly lite rest of the city.
Our cameras just couldn't capture it, but on all sides of the hill over looking Beijing, fireworks were going off (in continuation of Chinese New Year celebrations). Some close, some really far away, scattered all throughout the city. The city feels so different from up there... quite peaceful. The firework displays always help too, of course.
Wangfujing food stalls.
Skewered pig feet for the taking in the foreground...
So many delectable options.... Please send me your order.
