This blog.

By definition, this blog will never be finished since I am perpetually escapading. So far, 3/4 of China is done (a work in progress...), but now I'm in Mo'orea and will be attempting to finish Mo'orea first since it's only a month, not almost a year. But with super limited internet, this isn't going to be lightning fast (surprise!).

Cheers!

Incredible friends, wonderful surprises.

To jump start my birthday, Madeleine took the liberty of ensuring the first few moments of the morning were filled with chaos and confusion by "gently" waking me up with a pounce.  Best morning ever.

And, beautifully laid out on the happy birthday smiley face napkins, she had prepared a scrumptious breakfast, consisting of pear, apple, pomegranate, sweet bread, savory bread, fresh yogurt, a banana, and a hot Twining's tea.  And one outrageously large card full of love (as shown on the right).

And Elizabeth surprised me by making a delicious homemade chocolate cake (quite a luxury here) in Erin's "American style" kitchen.  So fun.

 Erin, even making homemade icing.

Complete with a "K" in sprinkles.

And to top off everything, we finished the day with a massage at the "Romantic Skin Spa."  As you can see here, we are very stressed out.  Rough life :)
