This blog.

By definition, this blog will never be finished since I am perpetually escapading. So far, 3/4 of China is done (a work in progress...), but now I'm in Mo'orea and will be attempting to finish Mo'orea first since it's only a month, not almost a year. But with super limited internet, this isn't going to be lightning fast (surprise!).

Cheers!

Japan: Tiptoeing among the mountains.

Our hike up Mount Kanmurigatake, right along Lake Ashi by Mount Fuji.  Incredibly diverse and beautiful  landscape, blue sky, and clear air.

For all who were curious, this is what Mad looks like when she talks on the phone.

And these are what my feet look like while Mad talks on the phone.

Mount Kanmurigatake, completely unaware of what is coming its way.

Madeleine, apparently very distraught over either the size Mount Kanmurigatake or the off-limits area.

Halfway up.  This is the shoulder of Mount Fuji, unfortunately obscured by clouds.

Adding 7 years to our life, one egg at a time.  We each have added 17.5 years onto our lives.

 Madeleine thinks she's funny.

At the top!!! We were pretty much  completely in the clouds at the very top....

 Overtaken.

 Celebratory ice creams.

The cable car down the first half of the mountain to Lake Ashi.

 Pirates.

Normally you can see Mount Fuji from here, but those clouds are still lingering...  Not that I can really complain about the view.

The pirate ship we took across the lake.
